Personal writing section

Experimenting with different layouts to see what layout and style works best, because this page is unique from any other page, it isn't another article spread but instead this is my own personal spread. The idea is to express myself through minimal design without taking away from this rest of the magazine but still let the reader see where my ideas and what my perspective is. 

I decided to remove the second image and just have the one, it looked better balanced, natural and some what.. organic. Final look:
